Everybody Dance! is run by
Vicky Baker, a 25 year old dance teacher. She has been dan

cing for 13 years and it has always been her passion, whether it's
competing,
performing, teaching or
choreography.
Vicky started dancing at the age of 12 at Castielli School of Dance in Aylesbury, Bucks, where she won
1st place in over
50 competitions and acheived grade Silver in
Disco Freestyle and
Rock 'n' Roll.
At the age of 16 she joined the
Bucks Dance Company where she performed at
The London Palladium and
The Milton Keynes Theatre opening festival. It was here that she also assisted in choreographing the
Wycombe Swan Youth Dance Festival, working with children of all ages and disabled dancers.

Whilst at school, Vicky took part in every dance activity she could, from studying
GCSE Dance (grade A),
GCSE Drama (grade A) as well as
A-Level Drama (grade C), and also helped teach first year GCSE Dance whilst studying for her A-Levels. She also put together a
25 strong dance piece for an in school competition, and
won 1st place!
It was also at school that she performed at
The Oxford Apollo and T
he Portsmouth Guildhall.
She then went on to study dance at
Roehampton University for one year, studying
Ballet and various
Contemporary techniques.
After this she joined a
professional dance group, Funkshun, as a backing dancer for the lead singer.
Then came
Tickled Pink, her first dance class, teaching students from 12 - 16 once a week for 90 mins. This ran for over a year and was
hugely popular. Within this class, styles such as
street,
ballet,
musical theatre and
cheerleading were taught. The students had an input in to the classes by suggesting music or styles they would like to do.

Vicky continued to expand her dance knowledge by attending various dance classes, workshops and auditions, and then came her 15 mins of
fame! Vicky was one of the 200 dancers to appear on
ITV's primetime special,
Everybody Dance Now with Fearne Cotton.

Vicky is currently training to be an
aerobics instructor as well teaching dance classes to teens.
